You name it, We pop it!
The purpose of the radio ad is to make the audience aware of Kettle Korn’s identity as well as  emphasize on the brand’s playful personality. In the Philippines, whenever you think of the snack popcorn, you often correlate it to watching a movie. However, popcorn became more than just a movie snack – people can eat it anytime they want. One of the most common ways to consume popcorn is to flavor it either sweet or salty. Because of this, there is a great debate whether popcorn should be eaten sweet or salty. The radio advertisement aims to create a mock court-like debate to show the market that their preferences are heard – whether it's salty or sweet. To show this, the aim was to create a youthful and fun atmosphere. When talking about youthfulness, our childhood is what first comes to mind Thus, Kettle Korn was associated with the target market’s experience in their childhood with siblings or friends when arguing – linking Kettle Korn with nostalgia.
